Description
Alchemy Beta 7.1.9.2516 does not remember my Second Life login credentials.
When Alchemy starts, it displays:
“We can't fill in your username and password. This may happen when you change network setup.”
Deleting bin_conf.dat allows Alchemy to recreate the file after logging in with “Remember me/password” enabled, but on the next launch Alchemy is unable to decrypt the newly created file and the error returns.
I have used chatGPT to analyse the log file and it found several errors. Please see the attached document for details.
Reproduction steps
- Start Alchemy Beta 7.1.9.2516 on Windows.
- Enter Second Life username and password.
- Enable the option to remember the login/password.
- Log into Second Life successfully.
- Log out normally and close Alchemy.
- Start Alchemy again.
