I'm also having this problem. I'm using Blender version 4.4.3, and when I drag the texture onto my block, it downloads the material, but it doesn't apply it and doesn't even appear in my project's material list. The only thing it changes on the block I tried to apply it to is the UVs. But when I try to do the same thing in version 4.5, it works fine. I’m using the latest version of BlenderKit.

Hi, can you please supply ID of that material , or print screen or something, so we can verify?

This can be caused by series of small issues.

Main one is compatibility.
For example if the material ("asset") was published from newer version of blender.
In those cases there id usually small disclaimer next to the material thumbnail with such warning.
