Many bugs that have come up have been related to the issue of Redis stores being separate from each other, causing gaps in implementation where a global cleanup function only cleaned up its own Redis store for example. Most of the bugs seem to have been fixed, but the objective of this issue is for someone to go through global_controller.py and its scripts and verify the Redis behavior would work the same on remote EC2 Redis stores as it does on fully local.
