[BUG] Failed to upload the KeePass database

When trying to sync a change to my KeePass database in OneDrive (tied to my hotmail account), this error message is being shown at the bottom. I already removed the config and re-did it. It didn't help, obviously.

To Reproduce
Steps to reproduce the behavior:

• Make a change
• Try to sync it
• Note how the last changed date of the KeePass file in OneDrive won't change at all

Expected behavior
It should sync

I changed the DB in my OneDrive by doing an edit with KeePassium on my iPhone (which still syncs flawlessly btw), and KeePassOneDriveSync also can't download the changes. So both downloading and uploading don't work anymore.

Maybe worth mentioning that this issue has also been referred to in the other open thread (but which is a question, not a bug, per se) #179 (comment) and thereafter.

Just trying to ensure it doesn't get lost in the noise, and this thread's title more accurately records the actual error message users will see.

Made an update today to newest version of the plugin. Then tried to sync to OneDrive, but it did not work.
Tried it with the old plugin version - it failed also.
When I shoud sign in with my Microfoft Account I got fowolling message:
Ihre Anforderung kann nicht abgeschlossen werden
unauthorized_client: The client does not exist or is not enabled for consumers. If you are the application developer, configure a new application through the App Registrations in the Azure Portal at https://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/?linkid=2083908.

What is that, had this never before.

Inside "OneDriveSync Configuration" I got following message:
Failed to connect to Microsoft Graph for database

I have the same issue with the same versions (both latest). Removing and adding did not solve it unfortunately.
When starting Keepass in -debug mode, I get the following error message:

Having the same issue after the upgrade:

1. renamed the old 2.x KeeOneDriveSync.plgx in the Plugins folder
2. copied the new KeePassOneDriveSync folder to the Plugins folder
3. started keepass, it went thru the MS authentication process. The "OneDriveSync" in file menu states "Online", but have the "Failed to upload the KeePass database" at the bottom of the screen

Tried switching OneDriveSync to offline and back to online, it didn't fix it.
Tried saving the file, which seem to trigger a bunch of steps to merge and sync, but it ends with the same "Failed to upload the KeePass database"
Tried clearing the Plugin Cache, and then restarting Keepass, it didn't fix the issue.

I use different MS accounts for different .KDBX files. It works with my employee's M365 account synced with company's OneDrive for Business.
It doesn't work with my private MS account (created back in 2013 with custom domain) and OneDrive (Personal) - for some .kdbx files. It succeeded for two .kdbx files using the same configuration. I don't get it and I am still trying to find the difference between those which work and those which do not.
I will report here if I find the reason. Now it doesn't make sense to me at all.

The issue seems to be caused by the size of the database.

Indeed, it seems to be restricted to 4 KB! Red-marked are my working .kdbx files syncing successfully with my personal MS account.

The largest one is also working because it's syncing with paid M365 account and OneDrive for Business storage.

I have the same issue and error as user Paludi above with the same versions. Removing and adding did not solve it.
Failed to import database. The file header is corrupt less data than expected.

I had the same problem. I fix it by these steps (after delete older plugin version and install the newest):

1. Delete old configuration in "Tools -> OneDrive Sync Options".
2. Close the database.
3. Run KeePass as Administrator (I need it to work plugin correctly, maybe others don't need it).
4. Open database file and choose to save it on OneDrive.

Everything is working properly to me now.
