migrate from existing install?

in the past i used empiremediascience launcher for SDwebui and have since installed many extensions etc.
can i migrate this install by replacing the "stable-diffusion-webui" folder in StabilityMatrix-win-x64\Data\Packages? or will this cause problems?

im wondering the same im still semi-using Empire all in one Launcher for SDwebUI But can i just copy the entire SD folder to Stability matrix without problems

Should work starting from the https://github.com/LykosAI/StabilityMatrix/releases/tag/v2.3.1 release.

1. Move the install folder stable-diffusion-webui into Data\Packages. You can rename this folder if it conflicts with an existing install. You don't need the Launcher folder nor the A1111 WebUI (Pin to Taskbar) shortcut

2. It should show up as an unknown package, press the import button. If you know the version of your package you can enter it on the next screen, if not you can just choose the latest version. Then it will migrate the relevant dependencies and also move existing models to the shared directory. After that it should be able to launch.

so i updated to v2.3.2 (portable install), moved the stable-diffusion-webui folder into \packages. but when i click "import" nothing happens other than animated progress bar (disk activity = 0MB/s). "cancel" button also not working. no idea where to find any logs for diagnosing

Logs would be in %APPDATA%/StabilityMatrix/ and there should be 3 numbered app.log for last 3 sessions.

Not sure what the issue could be with this though, is your data directory drive NTFS / has junction support?

NTFS yes. junction support idk what it is... i run it in my Downloads folder of the C drive where windows11 is.

i found those entries in logs at the end of the file mentioning my "-webui" folder:

What about an existing ComfyUI instance? Comfy doesn't use venv, AFAIK it has built-in Python, so it crashes (can't find torch because it uses newely created venv) when launched from Stability Matrix.

tried to import my a1111 again with v2.4

really don't think it's doing anything still. no CPU or disk activity in task manager
