Thanks for flagging this. The article was updated recently and now documents the redesigned WinUI 3 editor: under Settings, the Use the new editor note explains that new installations open the new editor by default starting in PowerToys 0.100, and that you can switch between the new and legacy editors with that toggle.

To target the content that still looks outdated to you, could you share:

1. Which PowerToys version you are running.
2. Which specific sections or screenshots (for example, the Remapping keys or Remapping shortcuts steps and their images) still reflect only the classic editor for you.

That will let us refresh the exact steps and images for the new editor. Leaving this open pending those details.
