PR #231 (track-recent-times) carries the /status observability work forward onto main, adapted to the current field shape, and has picked up the durable value from #253 (documentation/Performance.md, slow-query logging, filterCache visibility).
#253 targets ci and is not expected to be merged into main. Once #231 lands, close #253 as superseded so it stops looking like pending work.
Note the performance fixes in #268 are a separate concern and are not covered by #231 — see the companion issue for rebasing those.
