I am a developer working on an AAOS 11 first-screen device. I am developing an app that uses DIAL as the main protocol for discovery and application launch.
I would like to know whether the latest version of the Netflix mobile app available on the App Store and Google Play still supports DIAL for casting.
I am currently unable to get my first-screen device to appear in the Netflix Cast Picker. I would like to understand whether this is because newer versions of the Netflix mobile app no longer use DIAL for device discovery, or whether there are additional Netflix-specific discovery requirements.
