LPJmL complains about wrong file size of reservoir input created by LandInG

We have received user feedback that reservoir input files created by LandInG cannot be opened by LPJmL. The model returns:

ERROR264: File size of 'PATH_TO_YOUR_RESERVOIR_FILE' does not match header, differs by NUMBER bytes.

The exact path and exact number of bytes will be different from case to case.

If this happens, please change the data type in the reservoir file header from 1 to 3. See process_reservoirs.R.

This bug will be fixed in a larger update of the LandInG toolbox that is currently in the works. We are documenting this here so that any users who experience the same error know how to fix it until the update is released.
