Icons installed into common directory with generic name

Currently the action icons are installed under the /usr/share/icons/hicolor/ directory on Linux, but due to generic names, there are may conflict with other packages on the system.

To avoid collision with other packages, I would like to ask to implement one of the following solutions:

• Include the icons in a GResource, and load it from there.
• Install the icons into /usr/share/pinta/icons/hicolor/, and then add it to the search path with GtkExtensions.GetDefaultIconTheme ().AddSearchPath (Pinta.Core.SystemManager.GetDataRootDirectory () + "/pinta/icons");.
• Prefix the icon names with pinta-.

GResource is the recommended way to ship these application-specific icons:

But I didn't say a single word about GResource :)

If the system theme doesn't have the required icons, the app will get icons from the fallback theme (Inherits and so on) or from /usr/share/icons/hicolor: if you don't know real examples of described "problem", why would you want to break this standard icon search mechanism?
