Incremental backups

What would be really sweet - but it would add to the complexity of the script - would be to support incremental backups between the monthly, weekly and daily backups to minimize disc usage network bandwidth.

Interesting suggestion. I don't have plans to add this personally, though depending on free time I might have a look at some point in the future.

If incremental backup support were to be added, it would probably make the most sense to do it for the rsync part of the backup, as rsync already has built-in incremental support. I may give this a look in the near future.

Either that, or you could use bsdiff and bspatch.
