I checked in a small change that was need in manual_alarm_test.py at line 40.
Can you please test that on a mac and make sure the instructions for how to set the environment variables are correct? I think you intend to us a .env, which I think is a good idea---we need to produce a templace file for people to copy and add their secret passwords to.
