Problem
Tron same-chain payment support is being added to the Request API, but there is no documentation for developers on how to use it.
Proposed Solution
Document Tron same-chain payment support including:
- Supported tokens (USDT only for MVP)
- Limitations:
- No cross-chain payments (LiFi doesn't support Tron)
- USD-denominated invoices only (no Euro due to USDT regulations)
- 1:1 USD/USDT conversion assumption (no price feeds)
- Integration examples and code snippets
- API endpoint usage for Tron payments
Considerations
- Must align with final API implementation in request-api #432
- Should be drafted alongside development, finalized after API is live
- Consider adding a "beta" or "experimental" label until fully validated
