Network

• Home Assistant OS
• UniFi Dream Machine Pro
• HVACs are in a dedicated IoT VLAN (192.168.20.0/24)
• Home Assistant is in the main LAN
• Inter-VLAN routing works correctly
• ICMP ping from Home Assistant to both G-Time units works without packet loss

Example:

64 bytes from 192.168.20.10 ttl=253 time=2-5 ms

What works

• Gree+ mobile app controls both G-Time units correctly.
• Airy units are detected automatically and work perfectly with the integration.
• G-Time units respond to ping.

Manual setup

I successfully extracted the encryption keys using gree-api-client.

For manual setup I tried:

• correct IP
• correct MAC
• correct Encryption Key
• Encryption Version 1
• Encryption Version 2
• UID empty
• UID = 0

All attempts fail.

Exactly same problem - same firmware, same behavior... only difference my HA is on same vlan as HVAC.

Same problemen here they did a update where they closed the UDP port for local control. only cloud now.
