Broken URL escaping - SSID with plus

My WLAN SSID contains a '+' (plus sign).
In the generated /etc/netctl/... file that character is replaced by a blank/space character.
Thus my WLAN access point is never connected as the wrong SSID is tried.
Fixing the file by hand makes it work instantly.

Looks like somewhere URLs are not properly esacped/unescaped in a URL query string.

Similarly an SSID containing a space appears as "%20".
