You can pull the data via APIs, eg:

Ensembl only has latest versions (see VariantGrid code connecting to this API)
Perhaps we could make a DataProvider that connects here, then we could chain the normal ones together with this at the end, to retrieve ones people don't already have? (albeit slower)
