Dualbooting

Please describe your issue in as much detail as possible:

I want to install SteamOS on my Framework Laptop 16, but I want to dualboot it with my Debian Trixie install.
I have my 2TB drive already partitioned (1TB for Debian, 1TB unallocated), but I have seen that the SteamOS installer wipes the entire drive.
Is it possible to install SteamOS on the unallocated partition and dualboot with Debian?
If so can I get help doing it?
And could an option to easily install on a single partition instead of the entire hard drive be added?

Dual-Boot with SteamOS not yet available

• Installing Windows requires you to wipe your Steam hardware, and dual-boot with SteamOS is not currently available.
• While Steam Deck and Steam Machine are fully capable of dual-boot, the SteamOS installer that provides a dual-boot wizard isn't ready yet. This will ship alongside SteamOS once it's complete.

I think this means that if you can somehow install the operating systems for dual-boot, it would work, but the official SteamOS installer can't do it yet. I'm sure if you ask in the right forums, you'll find help.

I guess ill just wait for SteamOS to be finished and for the dualbooting feature to be added to the installer. Hopefully thats soon
