Script Breaks When Opening Youtube in New Tab

The script breaks upon opening youtube from a link in a new tab. I have firefox btw. Attached is a screen shot of this. Please fix.

What do you mean by in a new tab?

Does it work if you open the link in the current tab?

Does it happen when logged out (in Incognito / Private window)?

For me, it does not work when the watch page is NOT being opened in a new tab. YouTube simply replacing the content of the webpage without truly navigating(unloading/reloading) does not seem to activate the script's initialization payload. Could be something else though, haven't had time to isolate the root cause.

Maybe this could work as a solution it uses the Youtube Player API already implemented in your code, but simply has your main function not be executed until the api call returns valid?

The Iframe api prefers that we use the onReady attribute, but onYoutubePlayerReady is a forced requirement for any new api changes, so should be safe to use for a long while.

Edit: Btw I was not able to reproduce the issue in the first place? So if anyone could provide some straight feedback on how to reproduce it please do
