Most users with a modern mouse have a navigate forward/backward, we need to add or use a built-in navigation stack. Sometimes this means a tab focus change, it could mean closing a modal (no forward nav to re-open though), etc.
This should be wired to the navigate actions, and there should be navigation buttons by the top search, similar to VS code.
