OpenUSD version upgrade from 23.08?

Hi folks,

This dependency on a two-year-old version of OpenUSD is causing major friction when trying to build the plugin from scratch - I'm encountering repeated build issues with CMake, Boost and other subdependencies since so many of the relevant versions have now been deprecated. Is there a major blocker in updating the OpenUSD version this compiles against to something more recent? Thank you.

Thank you for reaching out. We do currently test against 24.11, and will continue to update our builds to newer versions as time permits—there are no major blockers we know of at the moment. Could you perhaps be more specific about what deprecated dependencies you are referring to?

thanks for confirming, @jaydobe ! I was able to build the plugins against 24.01 on a PC. Can you confirm that that version works for mac and linux as well?

Hi @michaelybecker, if you look at the badges at the top of our README, you can see which versions we have tested with which platforms. We do not test with 24.01, but we have tested with 24.05, 24.08, and 24.11.
