Whether it's starting a new Tailwind project or a custom project with npm packages, the node_modules folder is copied to the build folder by default after the initial install and build, even though it's set as a Skipped Folder in the Project Settings. I always have to select the folder and choose "Ignore This Folder." Is this intended?

Yes, it’s intended. The dependencies in node_modules are usually needed at “runtime” when the site is live.
