Tests coverage improvements

We have basic testing environment configured, to we can start writing tests to what we already have :)

@bobdenotter Can we add a rule to follow that any PR that is not a hotfix/cleanup should come with tests to what it adds / changes? So we can be a little bit closer to TDD :)
