Xcode 6 Support

Thanks for the nice utility! Unfortunately, I am not able to get it working with the latest Xcode (Version 6.0.1). Any plans for support?

I ran into the same problem and dug into it a bit - turns out the solution is simple. The final step of the install script is to remove Xcode's cache of plugin data, and Xcode 6 appears to have changed the naming convention of these files slightly.

You can manually perform this step as follows:

rm -f /private/var/folders/*/*/*/com.apple.DeveloperTools/*/Xcode/PlugInCache*.xcplugincache

The only change from what Add-Lua.sh does is to add the * in PlugInCache*.xcplugincache.

I'll submit a pull request with this change.

I'm on Xcode 6.3.2 and this does not work.

@deathemperor , I got same problem and then I perform below actions and now I saw the "Lua" option in place as said:

1. find all /Xcode/PlugInCache. xcplugincache under the folder /private/var/folders
2. manually remove them all (you will need sudo)
3. exit and restart xcode

I follow your instructions but cannot find any those file anywhere, not just in /private/var/folders. Not one file has the name PlugIn.

I'm under Yosemite 10.10.3

It's still working for me on Xcode 6.3.2 and Yosemite 10.10.3. Not sure what's different about your setup, @deathemperor

I works now. I was trying to delete something that does not exist. It had worked when I first installed.

Anyway I'm new to XCode. Wondering if I can make this default for *.lua file?

Hi, when I try to execute sudo Add-Lua.sh in the terminal I get error "sudo: Add-Lua.sh: command not found". Anyone know what's going on?

@HexagonStar It's not finding the script in your path.Try either sudo ./Add-Lua.sh or sudo bash Add-Lua.sh. The first provides an explicit path to the script; the second invokes bash directly, passing the script as an argument, which will work even if the script doesn't have execute permissions.
