talkingclock

A clock that speaks.

Every hour, it reads out a custom announcement using the browser's Web Speech API. The messages are baked into a JSON schedule — one line per hour, written with a bit of personality.

How it works

At each hour, the clock reads the current time, picks the matching entry from talkclockcode.json, and speaks it aloud.

{ "hour": 0,  "announcement": "It's midnight. Another hour begins." }
{ "hour": 12, "announcement": "It's noon. The day is at its peak." }

Status
