Bad unicode support in ET

Coherence fails on constructing soap messages with non-ascii chars
My suggestion is to move from ET to lxml

As this project does not have a maintainer, please provide a pull-request. Please also include a test-case which shows the issue prior to switching to lxml and hot it is solved after. switching to lxml.
