Important part, you need define lab & ibb supplies in device-tree (as this is amoled driver with 3 supplies). This will ensure the display will always properly lights up without any hacks.
Last two commits. the init sequence is for the 6.21 inch panel on Xiaomi Mi 8, but most of the command has been adapted to look upstream like.
If you could extend (or duplicate if it differs too much) the _on sequence and test it, I think driver in this shape could be upstreamed.
