coobbi (“we”, “us”, or “our”) provides JAR Runner – Java Runtime Environment (the “App”). This Privacy Policy explains how information is handled when you use the App.
- Information We Handle
The App is designed to run Java applications and JAR files selected by you.
Files and local data
The App may access files that you select through the Android system file picker, such as JAR files, class files, and related files. These files are used locally on your device to provide the App’s runtime and launch features. The App may copy selected files to its local cache or app-specific storage so that they can be launched again from the App history.
We do not operate a service that uploads the contents of your selected JAR files, class files, or local documents to servers controlled by us.
The App also stores settings, launch history, Java runtime files, and Pro entitlement status locally on your device. You can remove this local data by deleting items in the App, clearing the App’s storage in Android settings, or uninstalling the App.
Device, diagnostic, and usage information
The App uses Google services that may collect or process information such as device identifiers, advertising identifiers, IP address, device model, operating system version, app version, app interaction information, crash reports, and diagnostic information.
The App uses Firebase Analytics to understand basic App interactions, such as file-selection events. The App does not intentionally send the names, paths, or contents of your selected JAR files to Firebase Analytics.
Advertising information
The free version of the App displays advertisements through Google AdMob. AdMob and its partners may process device identifiers, advertising identifiers, IP address, approximate location derived from IP address, app and device information, and advertising interaction information to provide, measure, personalize, or limit advertisements, subject to your consent choices and applicable law.
Purchase information
The App offers an optional one-time Pro Version purchase through Google Play Billing. Google Play processes payments. We do not receive or store your payment card number or other payment credentials.
The App queries Google Play to determine whether your Google Play account has an active purchase entitlement for the Pro Version. The App stores a local entitlement flag on your device to enable Pro features.
- How Information Is Used
Information handled by the App or its service providers may be used to:
Provide Java runtime, file-launching, and Pro features; Maintain your local settings and launch history; Display and measure advertisements in the free version; Analyze App usage and improve reliability; Detect, diagnose, and fix crashes; Process and restore your Google Play Pro Version purchase; Meet legal, security, and fraud-prevention requirements.

- Advertising Consent and Privacy Choices
Where required by law, the App uses Google’s consent tools to request your choices before requesting advertisements.
You may be able to change advertising privacy choices through the App’s Privacy Choices option, where available, or through your device and Google account privacy settings.
Choosing not to allow personalized advertising may result in non-personalized advertising or may limit the availability of some advertising-supported features.
- Data Retention
Local App data remains on your device until you delete it, clear the App’s storage, or uninstall the App.
Information processed by Google services is retained according to Google’s applicable policies and settings. We do not operate user accounts or maintain a separate server-side database of your selected files.
- Data Security
We use reasonable measures to protect local App data. However, no method of electronic storage or transmission is completely secure. You are responsible for protecting files stored on your device and for exercising caution when running files obtained from untrusted sources.
- Children’s Privacy
The App is not designed for children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children. If you believe that a child has provided personal information through the App, please contact us.
- External Links
The App may contain links to third-party websites or services. We are not responsible for the privacy practices or content of those third parties.
- Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Updates will be posted at the policy link shown in the App. Your continued use of the App after an update means that you acknowledge the updated policy.
