I ran firehose on my personal computer last week which has 16gb of RAM and 8-core Apple M1 chip, and I used half of the available cores to run the function. Even with a ~500Mbps download speed, it took over 4 hours to download those data for one park centroid. Is there anyway I might be able to improve that speed so that this can better fit into CCRP's workflow for producing climate futures for parks?
