I use GNOME and I find quick search very handy, so I'd like to suggest a feature of quickly creating a timer using a search string like "timer 15" for 15 minutes, "timer 2:30" for 2 minutes 30 seconds, "timer 5h" for 5 hours, etc.
I'd try implementing that myself but I have 0 experience about go.
