Support for Python 3.14?

Hello!

Does ete4 support 3.14? I was trying to get it to build (on OS X 15.7.1), but failed. I'm happy to say more and/or to help, but first wanted to ask what is actually supposed to work. It would be good if the pyproject.toml were more specific than just Python 3 and setup.py just says Python >= 3.7. A noxfile could also be good so people can easily run the tests against different versions.

Is there anything I can do to help get ete4 working under Python 3.14? It was released over six months ago, on 2025-10-07. I have a project that has ete4 as a dependency and I cannot provide support for 3.14 because ete4 doesn't build under that version (as far as I can tell). Thanks!

I realized this seems to just be an OS X issue.
