Connector gap

WrenAI supports Amazon Athena. IntraQ accepts/lists Athena in some source-type paths and has date SQL helpers, but no live Athena query runtime.

Evidence

WrenAI docs list Amazon Athena as a supported data source. IntraQ live SQL execution currently supports PostgreSQL, MySQL/MariaDB, SQL Server, Databricks, and ClickHouse.

Acceptance criteria

  • Add a real Athena connector/runtime.
  • Support AWS region, workgroup, catalog/database, output location, and credential strategy.
  • Support schema discovery, query preview, SQL Editor execution, Analyzer, and Dashboard Builder.
  • Add tests for async query polling, timeout/cancellation, limits, and AWS error mapping.
