You should be able to show a dashboard, which is designed to be always displayed, on some extra screen. This dashboard may have no easy input method, or maybe just a touchscreen. So it should be touchscreen friendly and also configurable from a separate session.
I imagine this would show the date and time, what I am supposed to be currently working on, notes from that perhaps or even an arbitrary website, time spent on this task, so far today, etc, reminders, and god knows what else.
