What to build

Place a bundled source tiling at a physical repeat size, repeat it over the full printable area, and retain cleanly clipped edge geometry. The same millimetre scale produces the same density independently of paper size.

Acceptance criteria

• Explicit scale represents physical repeat size in millimetres rather than fitting one unit cell to the sheet.
• Source geometry repeats far enough to cover the entire printable area.
• Motif, outline, hatch, and concentric paths never extend outside the printable boundary.
• Partial regions at every paper edge are retained and cleanly clipped rather than discarded.
• Changing paper size does not change the meaning of an explicit scale value.
• Preparation tests cover portrait and landscape bounds plus edge and corner clipping.
