What to build

Make compatibility across the bundled Taprats library explicit and testable. Every catalogued file either produces usable motif artwork or reports a specific unsupported or invalid reason.

Acceptance criteria

• An automated compatibility test exercises every catalog entry and verifies that the catalog and bundled files agree.
• Every bundled tiling returns usable motif output or a typed unsupported/invalid result with a human-readable reason.
• Silent empty output, non-finite coordinates, corrupt paths, and uncaught parser errors fail the suite.
• Unsupported entries are clearly marked or disabled in the selector while retaining their diagnostic reason.
• The compatibility report identifies the source file and failure category for each rejected tiling.
• Arbitrary user-supplied XML remains unavailable.
