proble with battery lenovo ideapad slim 5 snapdragon and resolute

Hello, You previously helped me install Resolute on my Lenovo IdeaPad Slim 5 OLED.
I had fixed the brightness issue, but the sound problem remained.
I noticed that you released a Linux update: 7.1.5-jg-0-qcom-x1e.
I installed this kernel, but there was no change regarding the sound; I tried consulting an AI that knows your distribution very well, but it led me to make some strange—and ultimately ineffective—modifications.
I did a major cleanup, but in the process, I lost battery management capabilities in addition to the sound.
What do you recommend?

Hi, I remember. The Slim5x is considered "sort of solved" since last weekend. You need a few tings to do:

1. Ensure that you have downloaded the most current firmware (for battery and sound this is required). You can fetch it from your Windows install with my fetch script, but there are other ways. This is prerequisite for battery and sound.
2. Install the newest kernel from my repo - should be 7.1.7-jg-1.
3. You need a symlink for the (already installed) sound topology firmware. This is also crucial.
4. optional: current Alsa ucm conf. It should work with the installed one, though.

I am preparing a new extended install ISO, where the newest dtb and kernel will be on it.
