When leaving runviewer focus (e.g click on desktop) and then returning to runviewer, there appears to be a redrawing of the graphs that is not needed. If runviewer is showing a large amount of data, this can cause runviewer to hang while the redraw occurs. From what I could tell, resampling was not happening (so I'm not entirely sure why it was taking a long time to redraw).
It's possible this is a pyqtgraph issue (or a windows issue) and may not be fixable, but we should investigate more.
