compat/cryptid.lua line 114 and 115 do nothing(?)

Seems to be adding a local `supersede` and `ascension` to an `items` table, yet none of those values are defined. I'm pretty sure this only doesnt crash because of Cryptid incorrectly making one of its file's item table global, which has since been fixed.
