How `unsorted` is used?

Target metadata documentation mentions unsorted targets:

- `unsorted` (array of strings) — Target names that don't fit into any auto-detected category.

But in target.json unsorted is always empty.

As far as I can trace it, it stems from the period where MPFB was first constructed and the targets were imported from MakeHuman: https://github.com/makehumancommunity/mpfb2/blame/master/src/build_utilities/import_targets.py#L239

The idea was that there might be stray makehuman targets which didn't fit well with the overall category/section model. But since nothing else in the codebase reads this now, it's basically dead code. As you say, no such stray targets are listed in the bundled target json.

I won't be surprised if there are quite a lot of similar strange keys here and there.

I'll keep the key for now, since I'm thinking there might eventually be a solution where asset packs use the same format for local target meta data. But until such a time, I'd say it's a key which can be safely ignored.

Leave it for now. I'll do a swipe over the docs for targets and write a note about this while I'm at it. It will be a week or two, so the issue can serve as a reminder.
