Filed from microsoft/amplifier-bundle-attractor PR #346 (the P4 slim, attractor-28x), which carried this as a parked Wave-2 deferral.
The defect (inherited). In attractor it was modules/loop-pipeline/tests/test_spec_conformance_matrix.py:127 — a failure message naming docs/QUALITY_PROTOCOL.md, a page attractor retired by redistribution on 2026-09-02 (its protocol half was a local restatement of the ratified converge PROTOCOL v2; its operating practice moved to docs/OPERATIONS.md). The message therefore points a failing reader at a file that no longer exists.
That runner is now this repo's ledger/checks/test_spec_conformance_matrix.py, so the fix belongs here. It could not be done in the attractor PR: the file left with the engine in that very commit, exactly as the deferral anticipated.
Ask: grep ledger/checks/ for QUALITY_PROTOCOL and re-aim the message at whatever this repo's equivalent is (docs/VISION.md for doctrine, ledger/rows.yaml for the ledger, per this repo's own SPEC_CONFORMANCE.md tombstone).
