Fetching build tasks never completes

the issue #4638 is still there for me, with latest stable vscode and c++ extension on windows 10.

a little bit different scenario to reproduce:

1. have a well configured local folder with a few (4) custom build tasks (scons-based commands)
2. installed https://github.com/SchoofsKelvin/vscode-sshfs
3. added to workspace remote ssh folder using this
4. then the problem is there
5. removing this remote folder solves the problem

any isea how to solve?

P.S. I've also raised issue there SchoofsKelvin/vscode-sshfs#321
