Is the feature relevant to the Firefox PDF Viewer?
Yes
Feature description
Almost everywhere else in Firefox, holding Ctrl and selecting text allows for multiple discrete ranges of text to be selected. This works for text on webpages, as well as text input fields and contenteditable regions. This is not true in the PDF viewer. Given the exceptionally good integration of pdf.js, not having multi-select available for PDF text is a difficult discrepancy to understand from a usability perspective1.
Other PDF viewers
I only have Edge and its PDF viewer available to me, which doesn't not have this feature.

Footnotes
Personally, I have some understanding of just how tricky text selection is in PDFs, so I'm not entirely surprised. Still, consistency in this interaction would be valuable. ↩
