[finding] build/index.mdx:36 is a candidate sixth PR #100 authoring-destination site — "Open Console" became "Open ObjectOS" #233

Description

@claude

Found while executing #148 (the five remaining PR #100 authoring-destination sites). Reported rather than folded in: #148 enumerates five sites and states explicitly that a sixth is to be reported, not widened into that PR — which is the same discipline that produced #148 itself.

The site

content/docs/build/index.mdx:36, on origin/main at 09a0dd9:

1. **Just exploring?** → Open ObjectOS, start the [AI Builder](/docs/build/ai-builder),
say *"I need to track customer support tickets with priority, status, and assignee."*

PR #100 (adbcafc) rewrote that line from:

1. **Just exploring?** → Open Console, start the [AI Builder](/docs/build/ai-builder),

Why it is a candidate, and why it is only a candidate

It has the same shape as the site #148 calls flows.mdx:279: PR #100 substituted the product name for the removed destination, so the sentence is not wrong — you do open ObjectOS — it is merely unlocated. And the thing it sends you to (the AI Builder) is an authoring path, not the end-user/rendering sense of Console that PR #100 correctly retired.

What stops it from being a straight transcription of the 2026-08-20 Studio ruling is that the destination is not settled by measurement the way flow authoring and form design are:

  • Flow authoring resolves to Studio by content on objectui origin/main (107babe): StudioDesignSurface.tsx routes /studio/:packageId/{data|automations|interfaces}, PILLAR_FOR_SURFACE_TYPE maps flow to automations, and AutomationsPillar renders the flow canvas with editing: true.
  • The AI Builder does not resolve that cleanly. The same file's header states the AI copilot is not part of the open-source surface — it is an injected slot (aiSlot) that the cloud edition fills. StudioAiCopilot.tsx sits under studio-design/, but an injected cloud slot is a weaker claim than a route and a pillar.

So writing "Open Studio" there would be a new decision about where the AI Builder is reached, not a transcription of an existing one. That is precisely the class of thing #148 says it does not contain.

What settling it looks like

One of:

  1. Measure it. If the AI Builder has a resolvable home in the product surface (a route, an entry gate, a pillar), name it the same way the ruling named Studio elsewhere, and this becomes a one-line transcription.
  2. Rule that it stays as it is. "Open ObjectOS" may be the right altitude for the first step of a "Where to start" list — the reader has not yet chosen an authoring path, and the next word is a link to the AI Builder's own page.

Either way the corpus ends up saying something deliberate. Today it says the product name because a noun was removed, which is the state #102 and #148 exist to end.

Not in scope for the PR that found it

PR #232 (for #148) touches this file and deliberately leaves line 36 alone; its body names this line and says why.

Related: #148, #100, #79.
