Thank you for the rundown of firmware alternatives to CrossPoint. As soon as I finish the book I'm currently reading, I'm going to give Inx a try. Like you, I found the "phone magnet" a bit oversold especially since my phone's layout means the reader sticks out beyond the bottom of the device.

I bought mine on Aliexpress back in March/April. Sales come up from time to time, and combined with discounts and coin balance you can get a good deal.

Unfortunately (as is the way with Aliexpress sellers) the listing I bought from is no-longer available.
