Incorrect charging port status.

Charge flap status is incorrect (does not update) - Status is always closed, although charging flap was open and charging.
Charge status is incorrect (does not update) - Status is always showing unplugged. Although at the time car was charging.

The actual charing current, and power was correct while car was charging.

I've just updated to 0.4.4 check to see if that fixed it, GitHub Copilot was confident that it found the fix from the source code I was able to point it at 😸

Yep got the update and the lid status, and charger being connected shows the right status . The lid open status is under AC charge lid. Not sure if its meant to be under Charge flap. But it doesnt matter to me :)

Let me know which other data points don't look correct as this was a raw dump from the app's API, but not a complete deep dive into each data point one by one

not sure where to raise this but ..... Most things are appearing and I can see minor issues are being attended to. However, I am keen to know the location of my vehicle and, whilst I see a device tracker - <device_tracker.cm580_hc11_premium_rwd_rhd_apac_location>, it shows as any hints???

Hey @MikeatLorne, my car also doesn't seem to send the location to the API, I'm planning to have a chat with the dealer next time I get it serviced to confirm if there is some sort of flag I need to get configured in the car.

that would be great. I have checked that location sharing is turned on in privacy settings so it is not that. Just out of interest, my car appears to have run out of 4g for the month but is still transmitting to the api and the app is still working. I am hoping this is a one off because I discovered that there were a pile of maps that had not been downloaded to the car with the result that navigation was chewing through data (I think) who knows? we are in uncharted waters with these cars but they are fun! I've also just signed up for "fourforfree" with globird energy to charge the car for $0 during the day. Michael

yeah my car has ran out of LTE (4g) a few months now, I think it comes down to the firmware over the air updates, etc. as I'm not using the maps, I wish there was a way I could just get the LTE plan myself to track the data usage etc.

Yeah it did, and the weather stopped getting updated. which was annoying as I was driving between Sydney and Melbourne so I wasn't able to get the local temp.

the car was perfect
I stopped somewhere between Melb and Albury ( I can't remember where), then Albury, Coolac, Goulburn. all of them the Tesla chargers as they worked quite well. On the way down I did it on a week day and was easy to get a charger, on the way up I did it on a Sunday which was a mistake as I had to wait for chargers added a couple of hours to the trip, but it wasn't all that tough to do it in a single day.

good thinking re day of week. I'll go Thursday and return Tues - will report.... I am also not yet seeing the car location ..... Also when I try to switch charging on or off from HASS, I get this "Failed to perform the action switch/turn_on. API code 1402: token expired" I struggle with tokens - is it an easy fix? cheers
