Hỗ trợ nhập liệu bằng thao tác vuốt (Gesture Typing) trên Android và iOS

Mô tả

Thêm tính năng nhập liệu bằng thao tác vuốt trên bàn phím ảo (Gesture Typing), cho phép người dùng nhập từ bằng cách vuốt ngón tay liên tục qua các phím thay vì chạm từng phím riêng lẻ.

Lý do

Hiện nay, nhiều bàn phím phổ biến như Gboard hay Microsoft SwiftKey đều hỗ trợ nhập liệu bằng thao tác vuốt. Đây là một tính năng giúp tăng tốc độ nhập liệu và mang lại trải nghiệm gõ tự nhiên hơn, đặc biệt trên điện thoại.

Nếu được tích hợp vào Funput, tính năng này có thể:

• Tăng tốc độ nhập liệu trên thiết bị di động.
• Giúp thao tác bằng một tay thuận tiện hơn.
• Cải thiện trải nghiệm người dùng trên Android và iOS.
• Tăng khả năng cạnh tranh của Funput với các bộ gõ phổ biến khác.

Đề xuất

• Nhận diện đường vuốt của ngón tay trên bàn phím.
• Dự đoán từ tiếng Việt phù hợp dựa trên từ điển và mô hình ngôn ngữ.
• Hỗ trợ các kiểu gõ tiếng Việt như Telex và VNI (nếu khả thi).
• Hiển thị danh sách từ gợi ý để người dùng lựa chọn khi có nhiều kết quả.

Thách thức

• Tiếng Việt có dấu và nhiều quy tắc gõ khác với tiếng Anh.
• Cần đảm bảo tốc độ nhận diện nhanh, chính xác và tiêu thụ ít tài nguyên.
• Việc dự đoán từ cần đủ tốt để mang lại trải nghiệm sử dụng thực sự hiệu quả.

Gesture typing would be a meaningful feature, but I would design it as a shared gesture-decoding layer with platform-specific touch collection, rather than implementing separate Android and iOS predictors.

The first milestone could be intentionally small:

1. Collect the touch path with timestamps and key hit regions.
2. Normalize the path for keyboard geometry and finger drift.
3. Generate candidate words from a compact Vietnamese dictionary.
4. Score candidates using key proximity, path order, frequency, and language context.
5. Apply Telex/VNI normalization after candidate generation, not as ad-hoc string replacement.
6. Keep a tap-to-type fallback whenever confidence is low.

Vietnamese needs special care because the word path, tone marks, Telex sequences, and VNI digits interact. The decoder should preserve the user's intended raw sequence long enough to distinguish a tone operation from a neighboring key, and it should never silently rewrite a committed word without an undo path.

For privacy and offline performance, an on-device dictionary and a small language model would be a better first release than sending every gesture to a server. The shared core should expose candidate scores and correction reasons so the Android/iOS UI can render suggestions consistently. Tests should include accents, compound words, repeated letters, one-handed offset paths, and mixed Vietnamese/English input.

Mình thấy chế độ vuốt để gõ ko phù hợp với tiếng Việt lắm.
Mình thấy tính năng vuốt để di chuyển con trỏ và có thêm các nút copy, paste, select all thì sẽ tiện hơn trên điện thoại

Nếu làm được tính năng này thì sẽ rất tốt. Vì nhiều khi chữ dài mình sẽ ưu tiên vuốt hơn là gõ cho nhanh.
