Could not install from the command shown in the wiki

When I tried out the command for installing the package I got this error message:

Please make sure you have the correct access rights
and the repository exists.
Command "git clone -q ssh://git@github.com/penzance/canvas_python_sdk /private/var/folders/20/hhlyv4f12gq3l9f3dqggs6fr0000gn/T/pip-install-2dm3k0bc/canvas-sdk" failed with error code 128 in None

What am I doing wrong?
