Issue while reading csv file with simplexlsx.class.php

Hello,
I am facing an issue while importing csv file using simplexlsx.class.php file.it shows me this error:

unpack() [function.unpack]: Type x: not enough input, need 1, have 0
I found that array while exploding data in csv file is not proper, but could not come up with any solution.

Any one having idea why this happen and how to resolve this?

Does this read the xls format files also because i am getting error while upload .xls files ?
