Default switch mode

Maybe I'm wrong since it's yeas ago I used Source for my Circles.
But I thought it was possible to configure the devices to be default on or off after power-up.
I cannot find any configuration option for that.
Or should/could it be done in HomeAssistant somehow?

This depends on the firmware version of the plug. The firmware version needs to be newer than 2011-11, which enables the "relay-init" function.

I remember @bouwew made some changes recently to support this.

Can you check the firmware versions?

Ok, that is definitely not supported for that firmware.

That's a pity.
Last night we had a power breakdown. After the repair and all mains power came back, my 3D-printer was started.
Normally I have to switch on that Circle manually.
have you seen any solution for that in Home Assistant?

You can try to make something with a helper switch and automation. But it won't prevent the switch from turning on in the first place. If this is critical I'd recommend replacing the plug in this spot with something that supports configuring what to do a power-restore (a shelly maybe?)

OK. I already was thinking about that (Shelly), but I thought that it should be possible with the Circle also.
