The reported URL routes to Poe, not directly to OpenAI. I checked Poe's live public GET https://api.poe.com/v1/models response: 345 entries, with no case-insensitive match for gpt-5.6-sol (and no GPT-5.6 entries). The current OpenAI catalog does list GPT-5.6 Sol, but availability on OpenAI does not establish availability through Poe.

The repository's Codex integration preserves the requested bare model ID, selects the configured provider, and uses wire_api = "responses". The reported /v1/responses URL is Poe's documented Responses endpoint. I have not found evidence of an ID rewrite or incorrect endpoint in this path, and changing the name's capitalization or silently substituting a different model would not be a verified fix.

The focused mocked Codex configuration suite passes: 21 tests, 82 unrelated tests skipped. Current spawn argument construction and provider template inspection show no rewrite of this bare model ID and retain the configured provider Responses route.
