Tab Key doesn't insert a TAB character in Editor when Soft Tabs Disabled

Problem:
Pressing the Tab key in any on-screen/physical keyboard doesn't insert a TAB character in the file editor when the Use Soft Tabs option is disabled in Settings.

Checked by turning on Show non-printable characters option in Settings to make it easier to check.

The problem presents when using both: on-screen keyboard and physical keyboard.

It seems to work. Though maybe I fixed it unintentionally a few days ago as there was an issue with the editor not applying its theme when changed from the settings.
